About Me:

Hi.  I am Rich Hammond, the owner of, and Behavior Consultant for Gear Support Services. I have over 30 years of experience supporting individuals on the Medicaid Waiver, including as a job coach, day program coordinator, residential manager, and legal guardian. I have spent almost 25 years of that time as a Behavior Consultant, providing person-centered and evidence-based interventions.  Each role has contributed to a deep understanding of the complex needs and aspirations of the individuals supported. I believe in a collaborative approach that is driven by the individual and supported by their family, their support team and their natural supports. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to live music, and hiking.
